Join us for a meditative walk connecting peacefulness with the
wisdom of the natural world of which we all are part. Sandrine Harris,
a mindfulness-in-nature facilitator, will guide us through a journey of
moments, finding peace with each step and experiencing the tranquil beauty of
Innisfree. Through practices threaded with slowness, quiet contemplation, and
connection we will explore a path to
peace and celebrate the nationwide Gardens for Peace initiative
leading up the to United Nations International Day of Peace in September.
All are welcome, no experience with meditation is needed. Please wear
comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a mat or
blanket or be ready to sit on the grass.
SANDRINE HARRIS is a mindfulness facilitator with a
passionate curiosity for embodied connection with the natural world. She holds
a private practice in somatic (body-based) and meditative practices for
deepening presence and integrating lived experiences, including trauma, chronic
pain, and stress cycles. She celebrates contemplative practice as a whole-self,
embodied experience in our modern world. In addition to Innisfree,
Sandrine guides outdoor meditative experiences at Troutbeck (NY), the Berkshire
Botanical Garden (MA), Naumkeag (MA), Bartholomew's Cobble (MA) and elsewhere.
This event will be held rain or shine and includes garden admission. Tickets are not refundable or transferable.
