Join us on Wednesday, March 6th, for a mini-virtual conference celebrating International Women’s Day by InnovateHer, for students aged 13-17.

The virtual conference will have 3 events running throughout the day on Wednesday, March 6th; your school can sign up for them all, or just the ones you want.

Event 1: 08:40-09:00 AM, a 20-minute International Women's Day Assembly focusing on economic empowerment.

Event 2: 11:00-11:45 AM, a 45-minute interactive class on 'How to create an idea for a business!' and launch our International Women's Day competition!

Event 3: 13:00-13:40 PM, a 40-minute 'How I Got Here' panel featuring women from working-class backgrounds who are now in senior job roles in Tech.

The event is completely free and virtual.

FAQS

  • All events can be streamed to students from one computer.

  • To ensure as many students as possible can attend event 2, it is no longer a requirement for all students to have access to an individual device and the session can be broadcast by the teacher. However to take part and submit a competition entry, students will be required to register on InnovateHer Online, to do this, which they can do here.

  • Students can attend one or all three events. Each event you are attending needs a separate booking.

  • There is no limit to the number of students that can attend each event.

  • Whilst our mission is to get girls ready for the tech sector, this event is aimed at any student aged between 13 and 17, regardless of gender.

We can't wait to celebrate this year's International Women's Day with your school!
