Join us to celebrate International Women's Day 2025, we're delivering a free 50-minute live online event for schools that will inspire and empower students of all ages.
Hosted by InnovateHer, this dynamic session explores the United Nations theme "For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment" through interactive activities, inspiring speakers, and actionable insights. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage your students in a celebration of inclusivity and empowerment.
Some of our guest speakers include
- Ramneek Kaur Ahluwalia- Ramneek is an aspiring AI researcher and developer with a First-Class Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree. At age 20, she won the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Competition, with the development of a technology-enabled modern-day white cane. Her journey as a visually impaired woman in STEM has fuelled her passion for developing transformative technologies.
- Sarah Kilpatrick- Sarah is an art teacher and the President of the National Education Union. Sarah worked on the ‘It’s Not Ok’- A whole school approach to preventing sexism and sexual harassment toolkit to address and prevent sexism and sexual harassment in schools. She feels strongly about the importance of female representation at leadership level, as it’s a place where lasting change can be made.
- Manjeet Mann- Manjeet is the author of ‘Run Rebel’ and ‘The Crossing’. Two trailblazing novels written for teenagers, that cover important themes, and are used across secondary schools.
She is also the founder of Run the World, a programme that empowers women and girls from marginalised communities through sports and theatre.
- Hannah Spangle- Hannah supported our Space Week event in 2024, and we’re so excited to have her involved in our International Women’s Day event. Hannah has a major in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Robotics. She is currently working at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center as a GNC Intern on the Human Landing System (HLS).

- This interactive event will help reach Gatsby Benchmarks 5 & 8.
- You can stream the event into your classroom via Zoom, the link will be sent to you via email once you have booked, please note you will be provided with a passcode in your confirmation email that you will need to use to access the event.

We ask for this number so that we can manage the event well and know how many people we expect to be hosting.
