Living in Space – with Special Guest Tess Caswell (NASA)
InnovateHer is celebrating World Space Week 2025 with a dynamic and inspiring online 45-minute event for students, spotlighting this year’s theme: “Living in Space”.
The session, hosted by InnovateHer and featuring a special guest speaker, Dr. Tess Caswell – geologist, engineer, and former NASA analogue astronaut – will explore what it truly means to live, work, and survive in space.
Students will be encouraged to think about the future of human space travel, sustainability in orbit, and the real-world challenges of life beyond Earth.
The event will blend storytelling, science, real-life space experiences, interactive media and pre-submitted student questions. From the science behind space travel to the skills needed for interplanetary missions, this event will ignite curiosity, challenge minds, and inspire the next generation of space explorers.
By signing up for the pre-record via TicketTailor you will get access to the video first, so be sure to not miss out by signing up today!
