Celebrate Space Week with InnovateHer and NASA 🌕

In this session, NASA Flight Controller Amy Dill will be talking about her experience at Mission Control, what it's like to help astronauts while they are in space, the role of rockets, and what skills are needed to work in the space sector.

This 40-minute, pre-recorded event is a great way to celebrate Space Week at your school. The event will provide insights into the impact technology has had on space exploration and discovery, with a focus on ‘Rocket Revolution’, showcasing clear steps students could take to begin their own journey into working within the space industry.

About Amy Dill:
Amy works at NASA in Mission Control. She helps astronauts while they are in space, talks directly to them during missions, helps make sure spacecraft systems are working properly, and trains other people who work in Mission Control. Her most recent mission was being the Capsule Communicator for Artemis II.
And importantly, she isn't an astronaut herself — she is one of the highly skilled people on the ground who helps astronauts complete their missions safely.
