Welcome to an exclusive breakfast with interesting conversations at Operakällaren.
The 21st of October Abbe Ibrahim warmly welcomes you, through Operakällaren Foundation, to a breakfast seminar benefitable to WaterAid and their important work for clean water in Ethiopia.
You will be served breakfast from Operakällaren followed by interesting and important conversations from the panel.
As the situation appears today it is crucial to continue the focus on global development work with the aim of an equal and sustainable world in peace.
This year’s panel will highlight the fact that 771 million people still do not have access to clean water. They will also emphasize the importance to work with building a sustainable society so we can reach the Agenda 2030 goals. WaterAid can also demonstrate that there is a great ROI (return on investment) to work with WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) in the supply chain since it creates permanent and long-lasting effects for people.
The breakfast seminar will be moderated by the journalist and presenter Tilde de Paula Eby and the participants on the panel are:
Jan Eliasson - Ambassador for WaterAid and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations
Michael Dahlen - Author and professor of economics at the Stockholm School of Economics
Famke Janssen - Global 'Water Ambassador' at Green Cross and actor
Anna Nilsdotter - Chief Executive, WaterAid

Water is a basic human right that is essential for the survival of all people. Still, 771 million people do not have access to clean water, which means roughly every tenth person on earth. We want to change that.
2.8 million! That's how much the Operakällaren Foundation managed to raise during last year's event. The money from the event ensured that 4,000 people in the community of Wega Tebeta in Ethiopia received clean water.
