What is the venue?

Big Penny Social (1 Priestley Way, London, E17 6AL) is just minutes from Blackhorse Road Station & 12 mins from Kings Cross to the door! Expect an industrial, design-led venue that’s far from your average expo centre. Think natural light, immersive spaces and creative energy instead of carpets and ceiling tiles.

Is this a typical expo, conference, confex?

This isn’t your typical industry event. It’s a high impact national technology showcase and strategic summit. Where quantum meets innovation, AI meets real world application and the usual sterile event experience is replaced with energy, creativity and purpose.

Who attends this event?

Financial services, defence, supply chain, life sciences, energy, innovators, investors and tech solutions all under one roof.

Is food & drink available?

Yes. Curated vendors will serve food and drink all day and free ticket holders can unlock exclusive giveaways from brand partners.

Do I have to take 1-2-1 meetings?

Only if you select the free full access pass. You choose who to meet, and it funds the show. Not everyone will be asked to part take.

Is there a dress code?

Business casual is the baseline but most importantly, wear what makes you feel good. If you’re planning to try out experiences like a sound bath we recommend something comfortable.

What are the event hours?

Doors open early at 8.30AM and we run until late. Check the agenda on our website for the full programme.

Can I leave and re-enter the venue?

Yes. Just keep your badge and your ticket handy for smooth entry.

Is there an age limit?

All ages welcome. We understand life includes little ones. Some areas (like the bar) are 18+, but most of the event is open to all.

Will there be photography or filming?

Yes. Photos and short films will be captured throughout the event. Let our team know onsite if you’d prefer not to be featured.

Can I network or meet other attendees?

Absolutely, thats the name of the game. Curated networking is built into the day, plus optional 1-2-1 meetings, private lunches and social spaces.
