Join us for a very special evening at the spectacular Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge  bringing together leaders, businesses, partners, supporters and friends of the Inspiring Leadership Foundation.

The Gala will be an evening of celebration, connection and impact — recognising the people and partnerships helping to create greater opportunity for women and young people from disadvantaged and at-risk backgrounds, while raising vital funds to support the Foundation’s work.

The Inspiring Leadership Foundation empowers women and young people from disadvantaged and at-risk backgrounds with the skills, confidence, opportunities and support they need to realise their potential.

We bring businesses, leaders and communities together to create pathways to brighter, more resilient futures.

We wanted the setting to reflect the ambition of the evening.

The Fitzwilliam Museum is one of Cambridge’s great cultural institutions, home to a world-renowned collection of around half a million works of art and objects. Its connection to learning, public benefit and widening access to culture and education makes it a fitting setting for an organisation dedicated to opening doors and creating opportunity.

Guests will arrive from 6.30pm for drinks and canapés amongst the galleries, before being invited through the Museum to dinner in the Atrium.

Terms and Conditions for the Inspiring Leadership Awards & Charity Gala 2027 (“ILF Gala T&Cs”)

1. Event Overview:

The Inspiring Leadership Awards and Charity Gala 2027 (“ILF Gala”) is organised by the Inspiring Leadership Foundation Limited (the “Foundation", “we”, “us”), a limited liability company incorporated for charitable purposes (Charity No. 1165616 and Registered Company number 14176030) that is committed to empowering disadvantaged individuals through life-changing opportunities. The ILF Gala serves as a fundraising event to support our mission of the empowerment of women and girls.

2. Acceptance of Terms: These ILF Gala T&Cs are entered into between each attendee of the ILF Gala (“attendee”, “you”) and the Foundation. Your purchase or use of a ticket to the ILF Gala shall constitute your unconditional acceptance to be bound by these ILF Gala T&Cs.

3. Ticket Sales: All ticket sales to the ILF Gala are final and no refunds will be issued unless in connection with Section 4 below. We will not accept, as admittance to enter the ILF Gala, any tickets sold by third parties. In addition, we will not honour any tickets to the ILF Gala that were obtained from any source other than the Foundation. The resale, or attempted resale, of your ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of your ticket.

4. Changes Beyond Our Control: While we strive to ensure the smooth execution of the ILF Gala, please note that unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may arise. In the event of such occurrences, the Foundation reserves the right to make changes to the ILF Gala schedule, venue, entertainment line-up, hosts, or any other aspect deemed necessary for the safety and well-being of our attendees and participants. We also reserve the right to make any changes to the ILF Gala at any time for reasons within our control, including, but not limited to, changes to the schedule or venue. To the extent we are required to cancel the ILF Gala, you shall be entitled to any refunds afforded to you under applicable law.

5. Food:

We will endeavour to ensure the dinner provided to you at the ILF Gala will cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. In addition, while we will endeavour to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, attendees with specific dietary requirements and allergies must notify us in advance to ensure suitable arrangements can be made.

6. Accessibility:

We are committed to making the ILF Gala accessible for all attendees and will take all reasonable adjustments to ensure this is so. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request. You must contact us at least 14 days prior to the ILF Gala if you require any specific accommodations.

7. Liability:

ILF will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to any person attending the ILF Gala, your personal belongings or property or any vehicle or its contents in any car park, however caused, save for any death or personal injury as a result of our negligence or other breach of statutory duty or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

8. Photography and Media:

By attending the ILF Gala, you understand, agree and acknowledge that you may be photographed and/or filmed during the ILF Gala, and that the Foundation may use such photographs and/or footage, which may include your name, image, voice and/or likeness (“ILF Gala Content”) for any storage, transmission, broadcast, promotional or commercial purposes, in any manner and in any media, now known or hereafter discovered (such purposes, the “Permitted Purposes”), subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy[1] and in accordance with applicable law.

You hereby give your express consent to the Foundation to use, without compensation to you, the ILF Gala Content for the Permitted Purposes, subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy[2] and in accordance with applicable law. You hereby waive all rights and interests that you may have in and to any ILF Gala Content, including, but not limited to, any moral rights claims therein.

9. Code of Conduct:

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner throughout the ILF Gala. By attending the ILF Gala, you agree you will not engage in any unsafe, illegal or inappropriate conduct. Any behaviour deemed unsafe, illegal or inappropriate by the organisers of the ILF Gala or any member of the Foundation, in their sole discretion, may result in your expulsion from the event, without refund.

10. Prohibited Items The following items are prohibited (“Prohibited Items”): any objects or clothing bearing political or offensive statements or commercial identification intended for ambush marketing, large flags, banners, rattles, fireworks and other explosive devices, flares, pyrotechnics, air horns, musical instruments, klaxons, smoke canisters, laser pointers, cooking devices, bicycles, skates, articles which could or might be used as a weapon (including firearms and any sharp or pointed objects such as knives) and any other item which in the reasonable opinion of the Foundation could be used as a weapon or cause nuisance or harm to others.

11. Search: You understand, agree and acknowledge that your belongings may be searched upon entry to the ILF Gala. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the ILF Gala without refund or other compensation.

Amendment to these ILF Gala T&Cs: We reserve the right to change these ILF Gala T&Cs from time to time if we have a valid reason to do so (for example, to comply with any applicable law or new regulatory requirement). If we make changes to the ILF Gala T&Cs in accordance with this provision, we will post the revised ILF Gala T&Cs on our website and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these ILF Gala T&Cs. If you disagree with the updated ILF Gala T&Cs , you should promptly get in contact with us prior to attending. If a change we make to these ILF Gala T&Cs materially alters the ILF Gala or your rights and obligations, you shall be entitled to a refund or exchange of your tickets in accordance with these IFL Gala T&Cs, provided that you notify us within 30 days of us notifying you of the updated ILF Gala T&Cs.

12. Governing Law:

These ILF Gala T&Cs and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
