Our renowned Songwriters' Circle offers you an exclusive opportunity to hear stripped-back songs, performed by the writers themselves along with insight into their processes and the songs themselves. This series of events showcase new material from some of the most talented, up and coming songwriting students in the UK.
Open to all ICMP students, the Songwriters' Circle attracts musicians, music lovers and industry alike. You won't find a more unique, welcoming and intimate event whilst studying with us at ICMP.
This special round will be hosted by our very own Luke Toms. Luke Toms is a singer-songwriter, producer and composer. He has toured extensively, both independently and with artists such as Mika, The Feeling, The Zutons and Nerina Pallot. In 2019 Luke Toms released his ‘lost album’ The Forever House. Recorded in 2006, it is co-produced with Marius de Vries (Rufus Wainwright, Madonna, Elbow), has bass and backing vocals by Chris Marshal, drums and backing vocals by Damon Wilson, and is mixed by Andy Bradfield (Marillion, Manic Street Preachers). He has also written and produced for TV and Film. Clients include the BBC, Universal Pictures, Marks and Spencer, Sony ATV and more.
