Are you an Indigenous student starting at Fanshawe this fall? Join us for an information session about the Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award.
This award supports First Nations, Métis and Inuit students as current and future leaders, innovators and community builders. Eligible students may receive $3,000 over four payments throughout the academic year. Applications for students starting in September 2026 are open May 15 to August 21, 2026.
During this session, students will be guided by a Transition and Learning Advisor and will learn more about:
- Award eligibility
- How to apply
- The required meeting with a Transition and Learning Advisor
- Academic progress and check-in requirements
- Payment schedule and important timelines
- How this award can support your transition into college
Students are encouraged to attend if they are interested in applying or would like support understanding the award process.
Who Should Attend
This session is intended for Indigenous students who have applied to, or are beginning, a full-time Level 1 program at Fanshawe College for Fall 2026.
