Feeling unsure about whether artificial intelligence (AI) can be used responsibly in your clinical work? Join us on Zoom to explore research and your concerns about the risks related to AI use in music therapy. You're welcome to join whether you've adopted AI into your everyday life, or if you've been avoiding AI as much as possible.
With lots of time for individual reflection and small-group conversations, we'll examine how our values show up in real-world music therapy AI dilemmas. Participants will earn 3 pre-approved ethics CMTEs and gain access to digital resources including digital worksheets, slides, and research articles cited in the course. All participants must have a stable internet connection in a private space with the ability to participate in discussions. CMTEs can only be issued to participants who attend the entire course. Attendees who arrive more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted.
Schedule (all times Pacific time zone):
Participants will vote to decide which two topics we will discuss. Options include: When is it okay to use AI-generated deepfake music in sessions? When is it okay to use AI to brainstorm session ideas and materials? When is it okay to use AI technology to document music therapy sessions?
