ICS Counter-Weapons Workshop
Violent encounters involving knives , impact weapons and firearms are fast, chaotic, and unforgiving. This workshop is designed to give you a practical understanding of how these attacks happen—and how to dramatically improve your ability to survive them.
The ICS Counter-Weapons Workshop is based on real-world violence, not choreographed demonstrations or compliant training partners. You'll learn the principles, tactics, and skills that Integrated Combat Systems has developed through decades of research, pressure testing, and instruction.
During the workshop you will learn:
- How to identify common pre-assault indicators and weapon deployment cues.- Positioning, movement, and distance management to improve your chances of survival.- High-percentage defensive responses against edged and impact weapon attacks.- Clinch control and counterattack principles under pressure.- Disarming concepts and when they are appropriate.- Decision-making under stress and the legal and tactical realities of weapon encounters.- Progressive drills designed to build confidence, timing, and functional skill.
This is not a sport-based seminar or a collection of flashy techniques. Every lesson is designed with one goal in mind: giving ordinary people practical skills for extraordinary situations.
