Let’s Talk: Understanding Alzheimer’s, Cognitive Decline & Dementia Support

Sun Oct 4, 2026 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM EDT Trinity Church of Northborough, 01532

Purely Present Health is pleased to present this event as part of the Integrative Health Speaker Series—a community-centered event series bringing trusted integrative and functional health education, expert perspectives, and meaningful conversation to women in the local community.

Let’s Talk: Understanding Alzheimer’s, Cognitive Decline & Dementia Support

Exploring brain health, Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive decline, and dementia care through a functional, integrative, and whole-person lens.

  • Cognitive health through a functional medicine lens
  • The connection between Alzheimer’s and blood sugar
  • Dementia care planning and caregiver guidance
  • Art therapy for meaning and connection

Join us for a thoughtful conversation exploring brain health from both the prevention and care sides of the equation.

Together, our speakers will look at what we know about cognitive health, genetics, lifestyle, metabolic health, and modifiable risk factors—while also honoring the lived experience of dementia and the realities faced by individuals and families navigating a diagnosis.

From functional medicine and blood sugar to dementia care guidance and therapeutic art, this conversation will bring together different perspectives to offer practical education, compassionate support, and a more whole-person understanding of how we can support the brain, the individual, and the caregiver.

This event is for women who are thinking about their own cognitive health, concerned about a family history of Alzheimer’s or dementia, supporting an aging parent or loved one, or simply wanting to better understand brain health and cognitive decline through an integrative lens.
