CBRNe Summit USA 2026, Houston, TX, USA

Our 6th annual CBRNe Summit USA will take place in Houston, Texas, on the 6–8 October 2026, with officials from the military, emergency services, and government agencies to discuss today’s CBRNe challenges and lessons learn from the recent FIFA World Cup.

Houston is one of the host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the tournament in June and July. Our CBRNe Summit USA will offer important lessons learnt on managing large crowds, coordinating agencies, and preparing for CBRNe risks and threats. During the conference participants will hear from a number of host cities and the challenges faced and also what worked well in securing fanzones and stadiums.

Across the 2‑day conference and exhibition, attendees will hear updates on current CBRNe capabilities of different States as well as emerging threats that are increasing such as chemical misuse and synthetic drug contamination. The event will also look at how new technologies that are helping first responders detect threats more efficiently.

On Day 3, the Houston Fire Department and Houston Police Department will run a joint demonstration showing how they respond to CBRNe incidents and work together on‑scene.
