What to expect: This 6-hour workshop invites reflection on culture, identity, and lived experience to better understand the lens we bring into clinical and professional relationships. We will explore how privilege, bias, intersectionality, and microaggressions show up in everyday practice and examine ethical responsibility as a relational practice shaped by power and context. The focus is honest cultural awareness and more honest, grounded presence in clinical relationships.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Reflect on how cultural roots, identity, and lived experience shape professional perspective and relationships
- Recognize how power, privilege, bias, intersectionality, and microaggressions show up in everyday practice
- Examine ethical responsibility as an ongoing relational practice
Registration: $125.00 - $175.00 + tax
6 Ethics in Cultural Awareness CEUs
We use a community-centered sliding scale (adapted from Worts & Cunning) to keep the training accessible while honoring the labor that goes into it. The scale relies on honesty, respect, and accountability. Please choose the rate that reflects your financial access. Paying more when you are able helps subsidize participation for others, keeps spots open for those with fewer resources, and supports the sustainability of these workshops
