Shadow & Light: Projection Mapping & Shadow Puppetry Workshop

Sat Jun 28, 2025 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM InterAccess, 32 Lisgar Street, Toronto, ON, M6J 0C7

Step into the world of shadow and light in this intergenerational workshop, where adults and kids team up to create a magical, one-day performance! Using projection mapping and handmade shadow puppets, participants will explore the intersection of traditional storytelling and digital art. Adults will learn the basics of projection mapping, while kids craft their own shadow puppets—culminating in a playful, collaborative showcase inside the gallery space.

Open to pairs of adults and children (ages 6-13), this hands-on session fosters creativity across generations while bringing stories to life in an immersive way. No prior experience required—just bring your imagination!

This workshop is part of What We Build’s InterGenerational Workshop Series, co-presented with InterAccess.
