A London (ON) Invasion!, presented with More Noise Please!

Join us for a screening of the short film, “When In London Listen To Noise”, written and directed by Adriana Jiménez, followed by a showcase of some of the London, Ontario noise scene artists involved in the film, accompanied by projection visuals by multi-media artist Colby Richardson.

Noise music is highly improvisational and temporary in such that it is most often created in a live environment and therefore is fleeting, much like a broken hyperlink. It is a deconstruction of traditional music and in a way symbolizes digital decay.

Artists featured in the film include Colin Heddle (Nudes, The Economy, Scab Formation), Dave Cereghini (Morbidly Hip - Shameful, Scab Formation, Medical Fart), Sophia Rose and Alex Smith (Goon), Aaron Wallis (Shelf) and Preston Lobzun (Rampancy).

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

More Noise Please is Jennifer Creagh’s community radio show and series of live performances that features noise and experimental musicians from across North America with a strong focus on local independent artists. Jennifer is a Toronto based DJ (SuperJen), show organizer and radio show host who features mostly local independent musicians.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are located on the second floor of the building, which is accessible by two flights of stairs or an elevator. The front entrance has an automatic push door and is accessible by ramp or a short flight of stairs. Inside, all InterAccess facilities are on the same level, including a single-user accessible washroom.
