Tool Training: Electronics

This hands-on training session will introduce members to the electronics tools available in the InterAccess studio.

In this 3-hour session, participants will learn:

• What tools and components are available to use
• How to operate the soldering irons and hot air rework station properly and safely
• Best practices for using the electronics bench in the InterAccess studio

Tool Training sessions are designed for InterAccess members to learn how to operate the studio equipment safely and independently. These sessions are available at no cost to Studio Members. Non-members, including those looking to access equipment during Open Studio, can register to receive this training for a $25 fee.

After this training, members will be approved to use the soldering irons and/or hot air rework station.

This training will be led by InterAccess Studio Assistant Alison Clark.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
We are located on the second floor of the building, which is accessible by two flights of stairs or an elevator. The front entrance has an automatic push door and is accessible by ramp or a short flight of stairs. Inside, all InterAccess facilities are on the same level, including a single-user accessible washroom.
