About the Trainer
Finch is an emerging New Media artist & educator. Much of his artistic practice centers around making the unseen, not only seen, but tangible and felt. This motif fostered a logical love of digital fabrication - an act of bringing elusive virtuality into the physical realm. Finch graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media from TMU. There, Finch was lucky to have spent a collective 4 years working in on-campus Makerspaces, learning & growing while helping others to do the same. Both in his own works and as an instructor, he aims to lead with openness & curiosity. Finch is currently a solo artist, as well as a member of the Toronto-based New Media collective, machines of. He is also the lead installer for InterAccess and an Instructor & Makerspace Technician at the Toronto Tool Library Makerspace.
