Winter Qi Gong Workshop - Internal Arts Exeter

This one-day workshop is one of our regular deep-dives into both fundamental and 'advancing' skills of the Daoist internal arts.

We will be exploring various 'Nei Gong' (Internal Work) methods - simple practices that open up, release and connect the body for integrated movement, bodily awareness and nervous system regulation.

This practice puts in place the foundations for 'Qi Gong' (Energy Work), and we'll be learning aspects of the Bear from the Wu Qin Xi (Five Animals form), at time where we're moving from Autumn into Winter. 

As always, this is also an opportunity to simply make some space to connect with the body  in a community of practice.

This is open to all levels of experience - existing students of our school, complete beginners and practitioners of other arts.

Ticket prices

We want to make the internal arts accessible to as many people as possible and we recognise that not everybody has access to the same resources.

When we talked to some of our students we found that while some people are on a tight budget, others would like to pay slightly more than the basic cost to contribute to the school's work.

Based on this feedback, we now offer two tickets: the 'standard rate' and the 'supporter rate'.

There are no criteria for these tiers, please choose whichever feels appropriate to you.

Travel

Exeter Community Center is 10 minutes walk from Exeter Central Station and there is all-day parking available at Isca Place car park

Lunch

We will be training in the centre of Exeter, near to many great, independent places to eat.

About the school and teacher

We are are a small school based in the Southwest of England, dedicated to the study of the Chinese internal practices of Qi Gong, Nei Gong and Nei Dan, and the martial arts of Xing Yi Quan and Ba Gua Zhang. Find out more here
