IBC Showcase: Shappi

IBC will showcase Shappi, a company now operating at the BDC.

BDC / Incubator is Chattanooga’s premier business development hub that provide office and manufacturing spaces tailored for innovation and growth. With a comprehensive 3-year program, entrepreneurs have access to training rooms, networking opportunities, programming and industry specific mentorship. Services also include strong support from the Chattanooga Chamber, and many other partners.

ChaTech, Chattanooga Technology Council, also a tenant at the BDC, annually present TechX awards to tech companies and professionals, awarded 2024 Early innovator Award (EIA) to a neighbor, Shappi. 

Shappi provide Latin American consumers with U.S. products in a faster, affordable, and more reliable way by connecting them to Verified Travelers returning from the U.S. to their destination.  Karla Valdivieso, founder and CEO, answered the call from Brickyard for startups to come to Chattanooga in 2022.  Brickyard has nominated several of the startups for the annual EIA selection process.
