International Police Association, Section UK Presents:

Ukrainian Police in the ranks of United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Luit” defend their country

Following the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian police faced new challenges. In addition to maintaining law and order in the rear, there arose a need for police units to participate directly in combat operations. In 2023, on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Liut” (translated into English as “Fury”) was formed as part of the “Guard of the Offensive”. The Liut Brigade was officially established on January 13. Former patrol officers, detectives, investigators, inspectors as well as other police personnel joined the brigade to fight the enemy and protect the freedom of their country
