Art Education in Arduous Times: Hopeful articulations of resilient arts education : Invitation from InSEA Europe

We invite inSEA members and potential members, to join a workshop aimed at networking and connecting with others interested in partnering in a thematic art project. Our aim is to bring together an international community of art teachers, arts practitioners, artists, museum educators, art students and researchers. We propose to jointly create pedagogical and arts projects that explore the diverse experiences of people, particularly young people, and illuminate the transformative potential of arts education when social, geopolitical, ecological and humanitarian conditions are strained and people’s foundational right to experience and participate in arts and culture and arts education compromised.

Members interested in contributing to this collaborative effort – through arts projects, dialogue, lesson plan and research exchange, or joint initiatives – are warmly welcomed.

We invite everyone to participate in our first online workshop meeting on SATURDAY April 25 2026. While this session is part of the InSEA webinar series, the event will be carried out as a workshop for ideas and getting to know other people and their interests.
