The Trojan Women

In the smoldering aftermath of the Trojan War, the women of Troy are left to reckon with unimaginable loss. As their city burns and their families torn from them, they confront grief, captivity, and the cruel uncertainty of what comes next.

Through prophecy, memory, and myth, The Trojan Women reimagines the fall of Troy through the women forced to endure its consequences. The survivors grapple with rage, resilience, and what it means to preserve identity when everything else has been taken. Poetic, visceral, and fiercely human, this powerful retelling asks what remains after devastation—and whether hope can still bloom from tragedy.

Bradford Reilly has his bachelor’s of fine arts in acting from Ball State University in Muncie, IN and has been performing around the country for 25 years. Having moved to DFW in 2020, he has been seen in many productions throughout the metroplex. His adaptation of the Trojan Women was last produced in 2016 at the Indianapolis Fringe festival, and he feels its story and themes are more relevant now than ever before.
