IPC Champions Training Day

You are invited to attend the IPC Champions Training Day for New IPC Care Home Champions!

This event is being held in conjunction with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and aims to strengthen infection prevention and control practices across care homes.

What to expect:

• Expert-led sessions on IPC best practices
• Practical guidance and resources to support your role

Training to include:

• Role of the IPC Champion
• IPC Standard Precautions
• Outbreak Management
• Water Safety
• Audit Planning
• Decontamination
• Waste/Sharps
• Resources, Champion Posters and training material etc. 

Places are limited, and priority may be given to homes that do not already have an IPC Champion.

(This event is intended for IPC Champions who have not attend an IPC Champions Training Day)

*Numbers are currently limited to 1 space per care home; further spaces may be available closer to the day.

Free on site parking is available, refreshments and lunch to be provided.
