Launch of the All-Island Public Health Knowledge Hub which is being led by the All Island Institute of Public Health (IPH) in a cross-border project in partnership with the Bamford Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing at Ulster University, and the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin.
The initiative is co-funded by the Department of Finance in Northern Ireland and the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform, and Digitalisation in Ireland under the PEACEPLUS programme, which is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
The Public Health Knowledge Hub (PHKH) will strengthen the public health evidence base in Ireland and Northern Ireland by creating a single, publicly accessible all-island public health data portal.
The innovative initiative will be formally launched at this in-person event by the Minister of Finance in Northern Ireland, John O’Dowd, MLA, and the Minister of Public Expenditure in Ireland, Jack Chambers, TD.
