Launch Your PM Career: Why Curiosity is Your Best Tool | Curtin PM Mixer

If you want to know what it really takes to get your project management career off the ground, it doesn't start with knowing all the answers from day one. It starts with asking the right questions.

That is why we’re hosting our next Project Management Mixer at Curtin Uni, focusing on exactly that: “Using curiosity to launch your PM career.”

This isn't your standard, stiff networking event. We are bringing in a panel of experienced project professionals from across different industries for a hands-on Speed Mentoring session. You will get to sit down, have real conversations, and learn how staying curious keeps you adaptable when projects inevitably go off-script.

What you will gain:

• Speed Mentoring: Fast-paced, high-value conversations with industry leaders.
• Adaptability Skills: Learn and practice how staying actively curious keeps you resilient and adaptable in a fast-changing industry.
• Real-World Networking: Break the ice, ask the hard questions, and build a professional network before you even graduate.

The Details:

• Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Location: Ground Floor, Building 418, Curtin University, Perth WA

Bring your questions, build your network, and learn how a curious mindset is your greatest asset in project delivery. Space is limited, so secure your spot and take the next step in your PM journey!
