About the Iranian American Jewish Federation (IAJF)

Since 1980, the Iranian American Jewish Federation (IAJF) has been dedicated to serving and strengthening the Persian Jewish community. Founded during a pivotal time in our community's history, IAJF played an instrumental role in helping secure the right for Iranian Jews to immigrate to the United States. It also partnered with HIAS to assist newly arrived families, providing critical support and a helping hand to those in need.

As the needs of our community have evolved, so has IAJF. Today, the Federation serves as the voice and central address of the Iranian American Jewish community, bringing together and supporting the many charitable organizations that serve our community.

IAJF remains committed to honoring our Persian Jewish legacy, celebrating our unity, and shaping our future. Our mission continues to evolve to meet the needs of each generation through initiatives that include:

• Combating antisemitism in schools and universities
• Teaching Jewish values and strengthening Jewish identity among youth
• Preserving Persian Jewish history, heritage, and culture for future generations
• Providing assistance and support to individuals and families in need
• Supporting Jewish communities both locally and around the world
• Standing with and supporting Israel through trusted partner organizations

For more than four decades, IAJF has remained steadfast in its mission to serve, unite, and empower our community while ensuring our heritage and values continue to thrive for generations to come.
