Publishing your work is an important step in building your reputation as a researcher but the publishing process can sometimes feel daunting. This workshop is an opportunity to speak with experts about publishing your first journal article or book, demystifying the publishing and peer review process . Selina Lock, William Farrell (Library) and Duncan Stanley (Doctoral College) will provide an introduction to academic publishing.
Then, you'll have the chance to meet with journal editors from a range of disciplines to get expert advice. We'll be joined by Prof. John Challis (Biomedical Pharmacology Journal), Prof. Ana Cristina Costa (British Journal of Management) and Dr Bernhard Forchtner (Journal of Language and Politics).
