Beginners DJ | 4 Week Course

Always wanted to DJ? Take the first step with this 4 week beginner friendly course, where you can learn the fundamentals of DJing from mixing to preparing a set, guided by an experienced DJ with live event experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT OVER THE FOUR WEEKS 

Learn the basics such as setup, mixing, beat-matching, transitions and the specific equipment needed to get started. Guests will be required to choose 4 songs to bring on a USB that will be mixed together live in the workshop, and will be peer reviewed. Based on the mix made, we will go into more depth with transitions and beat matching. From this we can look into where people feel they need improvement. 

When the four week course is complete, a LIVE GIG will take place in a venue where guests invite family and friends to support you for your first ever live set! You will get a chance to play 30 minute set on decks and put all of your learning to use.

HOW MANY ATTEND THE COURSE?

This course is limited to 5 people as we like to create a close knit and intimate group setting. Suitable for ages 18s and over.
