Fresh off the back of an intense Irish drift season, a new chapter in Irish motorsport is about to be written. Introducing the Irish Drift Nationals, a winner takes all, one day event where the very best of Ireland’s drifters go head to head for the title of Nationals Champion.

Set at the legendary Tipperary Raceway, the birthplace of Irish drifting, this event celebrates Ireland’s proud drift heritage while giving rising stars the chance to step into the spotlight and stake their claim among the nation’s best.

Standing in their way are past and present champions, battling for the Nationals title and the honour of lifting the first ever Irish Drift Cup, a trophy that embodies the spirit of Irish drifting and guarantees the winner a place among Ireland’s drifting elite.

On October 26th, under the lights of Tipperary Raceway, Ireland’s first ever Drift Nationals Champion will be crowned.

For more than two decades, Irish drivers have consistently punched above their weight on the world stage. Few countries can rival Ireland’s reputation in drifting, with champions like James Deane, 2025 Formula Drift Champion, and Conor Shanahan, 2025 Drift Masters Champion; Irish drivers have won it all.

Now, the Irish Drift Nationals bring that extraordinary talent home, celebrating Ireland’s international success while uniting the best of past and present to battle for national glory.

After years of debate over who is the best drifter in Ireland, the Irish Drift Nationals will settle that debate for the class of 2025 in this high stakes, winner takes all finale under the lights at the iconic Tipperary Raceway.

The Irish Drift Cup

Introducing the Irish Drift Cup, a brand new, prestigious trophy awarded to the winner of the Irish Drift Nationals. The winner of the event will claim the title of Ireland’s first ever Drift Nationals Champion, lifting this iconic trophy and cementing their place in Irish motorsport history.

More than a trophy, the Irish Drift Cup stands as a celebration of Ireland’s exceptional drift talent and a tribute to the fans and community that have made Irish drifting so special. Each year, the winner’s name will be engraved on the trophy, passing from champion to champion and honouring the legacy of the driver who came before them.
