Christmas by Candlelight Concert 2026

🎄Christmas by Candlelight – A Magical Evening of Music and Festive Celebration🎄

Join Irish Heritage for our much-loved Christmas by Candlelight concert at St George's Church, bringing together exceptional live music, traditional festive readings and a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.

This year's concert will be hosted by acclaimed pianist and BBC Radio 3 broadcaster Iain Burnside, who joins us for what promises to be a truly memorable evening.

Under the artistic direction of Brian Hughes, enjoy beautiful performances from past and present Irish Heritage bursary winners, alongside the wonderful Irish Heritage Christmas Choir.

We are also delighted to welcome three very special guests for our traditional Christmas readings:

• Her Excellency Sonja Hyland – Ireland's Ambassador to the United Kingdom
• Bob Geldof – Celebrated Irish musician and humanitarian
• Shevaun Wilder – Irish actor and theatre director

🍷 Your ticket also includes a programme and our traditional wine and mince pie reception at the interval — the perfect opportunity to enjoy some festive cheer with friends old and new.
