Experience live music as talented musicians perform traditional Irish tunes, bringing the archive's extensive collections to life. You'll hear and learn about instruments such as the fiddle, uilleann pipes, and harp along with some traditional dancing.

Learn to sing a song ‘as Gaeilge’

Practice your ‘cúpla focal’ by learning to sing a traditional song ‘as Gaeilge’ (in Irish). Under the guidance of Sorcha Ní Scolaí, an accomplished singer and uilleann piper from Dublin, you’ll learn the melody and lyrics to a traditional Irish song.

This interactive session connects visitors to the music and song heritage of Ireland, while developing your Irish language skills.
