The next concert in ITMA's Down the Back Lane series brings together two exceptional musicians for an evening of songs, stories and traditional music in an intimate candlelit setting.

John Faulkner is one of Ireland's most respected singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. His career has spanned over five decades, working with artists including Dolores Keane, Ewan MacColl, Peggy Seeger, Kevin Burke, Jackie Daly and many more. His original songs, arrangements and deep knowledge of Irish traditional music have made him one of its most distinctive voices.

Joining him is uilleann piper Pádraic Keane, one of Ireland's leading pipers and recipient of the TG4 Young Musician of the Year award. A native of Maree, Co. Galway, Pádraic has performed throughout Ireland and internationally with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra and many of the country's foremost traditional musicians.

Together they promise an evening of exceptional music, stories and conversation in a relaxed acoustic setting.
