2024 Spring Symposium and Irregular Warfare Forum
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Spring Symposium and Irregular Warfare Forum, May 15-17, 2024, at Fort Liberty, NC. Sponsored by NDU's College of International Security Affairs, the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, and the Irregular Warfare Center, the Symposium builds on the key themes from the December IW Forum, including developments in education, research, and practice relevant to Irregular Warfare and Strategic Competition. At the core of the Symposium are CISA student research presentations, offering an opportunity for the community of interest to connect research with practice.

FAQs
1. How do I access Fort Liberty? HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pass Request using online pre-registration (US Citizens only): Click Here **(Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari browser recommended)
DoD personnel can access Fort Liberty at any ACP leading onto Fort Liberty. Due to the Manchester Road closure, traffic may be congested more than normal at the northern ACPs (Manchester Rd, Butner Rd, Randolf Rd and Chicken Rd ACP). Random vehicle checks are conducted at all the ACPs.
Non-DoD attendees (persons who do not possess a valid DoD CAC card or DoD ID Card) may pre-register with Fort Liberty Security Office or via online (Link below) request to obtain a visitor pass. The Fort Liberty Visitor Center is located at the All-American Access Control Point (ACP) and is open 0500 to 2100 daily. If you elect to pick up a Visitors Pass at the All-American ACP, you will need a valid state issued driver's license or ID card.

3. Cell Phones and PEDs All events will be taking place in USASOC Monitored facilities and PEDs are not allowed, to include Cell Phones, laptops and smartwatches. Please leave these items at home or in your vehicle.
4. Dress Code
Civilian: Business casual
Military: Duty uniform
5. Symposium events will be taking place over two buildings both on the USAJFKSWCS Campus, the JFK Auditorium and Clay Hall. These buildings are close to one another, but do require about a 2-3 minute walk between. Please bring an umbrella in the case of inclement weather!
6. Chatham House Rules All sessions will fall under CHR for the entirety of the event.
7. Food Trucks will be available for lunches outside the event each day. Vendors accept cash and cards.
