Their setlist spans anime openings and endings, J-pop hits, and video game soundtracks, mixing familiar favorites with lesser-known gems. Having performed at major conventions and festivals across Southern California, the band brings tracks from across the anime scene to live audiences with a shared passion for the music and a dedication to musicianship.

ATARA ARA:

Atara Ara is a four-piece rock band formed by 4 university classmates brought together by a shared love of Japanese rock and alternative music. Atara Ara released their debut single “Everything’s Okay” in March 2024, an energetic pop-punk/J-rock track exploring the weight of expectation and a desire to reclaim one’s identity. Since then, the band has performed in and out of the anime convention scene in OC and LA. They are very excited to share the music of their coming EP as well as their taste in Japanese rock!
