AḤuḍūr (حضور) refers to being fully present with the heart before Allah. This programme adapts the internationally recognised MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) model into an Islamic contemplative framework, drawing from:
Murāqabah (watchfulness)
Tafakkur (contemplation)
The aim is not just stress reduction - but returning the heart to its natural state of connection with God.
👤 Instructor: Dr. Yusuf Jha
Dr. Yusuf Jha is a Specialist in Religious Sciences, Lecturer at Cambridge Muslim College for their Islamic Psychology Programme, and a certified holistic life coach and counsellor trained in various trauma counselling modalities. His area of expertise includes Islamic Psychology, Sacred Economics, and Spiritual Ecology. He is the author of the book, "Sulūk and the Way of Return.'
