Arno, Ard and Ross will share their greatest hits and latest releases, which have etched into South African pop culture for the last 20 years. Brought to you by Ramsey Crookall.

Together, Arno Carstens, Ard Matthews and Ross Learmonth bring a blend of rock and alternative influences, showcasing their diverse talents and contributions to the South African music landscape in a uniquely intimate evening of storytelling and music history. These three music icons have left significant marks on the South African music industry, contributing unique styles and sounds that have resonated with audiences locally and internationally. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a lover of rock, alternative rock, indie rock and pop rock, this concert will satisfy your craving for live music on the Isle of Man!

Arno Carstens

Arno Carstens is a South African singer-songwriter and musician who gained fame as the lead vocalist for the rock band Springbok Nude Girls. The band was highly influential in the South African alternative rock scene during the 1990s. Arno Carstens later pursued a successful solo career, releasing albums that blend rock, pop, and alternative influences. He is known for his distinctive voice and thoughtful songwriting.

Ard Matthews

Ard Matthews is best known as the frontman of the South African band Just Jinger. Just Jinger emerged in the late 1990s and became one of the country's most successful rock acts. The band's music is characterised by a blend of rock, alternative, and acoustic elements. Ard Matthews' solo work also reflects these influences, showcasing his talent for heartfelt songwriting and emotive performances.

Ross Learmonth

Formerly the lead vocalist and guitarist for the South African rock band Prime Circle, Ross Learmonth embarked on a new chapter in his musical journey, focusing on solo endeavors that continue to showcase his distinctive voice and songwriting abilities. His music combines elements of alternative rock, indie rock, and pop rock, and his soulful voice and dynamic guitar continues to .

Please note:

• Ticket sales open at midday on Friday, 14 June.
• Doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 8pm. Get there early to enjoy the night out to the full! Come and mingle and enjoy the SA gees (spirit).
  
• All tickets are available at a standard price of £28. Seats can be pre-booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Everyone is welcome - this is an event for music-lovers!
• This is an intimate, acoustic performance by the three artists with no backing band.
• Food will be available from Babbages.
• Full bar will be available inside the Studio venue. We're hoping to have some SA brands!
• No under 18s allowed due to liquor license restrictions. No exceptions can be made.
  
• There is limited parking for 200 cars on a first-come-first-served basis. No parking will be allowed on the streets surrounding Mountain View Innovation Centre.
• There is no provision for campervans or overnight parking as the gates will be locked at midnight due to the site security protocols and insurance cover.
• The event is fully wheelchair accessible with ramped access and disabled toilet facilities close at hand. Please email vanessa@islesettle.com for any special arrangements.
• Stay safe, have fun! Use our free shuttle service to get to the venue from Ramsey Bus Station without worrying about driving! The shuttle will run at 20 minute intervals from the Ramsey Bus Station, from 7pm to 8.30pm, and returning after the concert.
• Enjoy one of the local restaurants in the area or book a staycation in one of the local hotels (Ramsey Park Hotel or The Mitre), B&Bs or campgrounds. 
• If you've never eaten in Ramsey, you're in for a treat - from Indian to Italian to Chinese, Ramsey has a world of flavours to enjoy - not to mention some fab pubs and bars! Book your table at Ravioli House, Golden Phoenix, Rum Baba's, Gelatory, Vellika's, The Other Place, The Good Stuff, or come early for a drink at Bar Logo, The Trafford, Fynoderee or The Swan.
• In commemoration of Mandela Day on 18 July, we're inviting everyone to bring along non-perishable food items or toiletries, which will be donated to the Isle of Man Foodbank.
