We're proud to present our first "Oldhammer" event based on the 3rd edition 40k ruleset.

In this 2 day narrative event you will relive Abaddons 13th black crusade across 4 games as depicted in the 2003 Eye of Terror supplement. 

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BUYING A TICKET!

3rd edition spanned 6 years of updates and refinements, such as improved transport and assault rules that came out in chapter approved,

WE WILL BE USING THESE RULES

However fear not, a clear and condensed rule book which incorporates all of these rules has been developed by an event organiser in Australia, it is tried and tested and this is what we will be using for our event; see the link below

ARMY CONSTRUCTION

This event is primarily focused on hobby and narrative- so all models must be fully painted and based to a reasonable standard.

It should go without saying at Isstvan Beachclub events; no prizes are given for winning games of toy soldiers- if you bring a "competetive" list you will be beaten. FUN, THEME, AND SPORTSMANSHIP should be the objective when writing your list. 

Try and bring a thematic list! After all the fate of Cadia (which totally still exists) depends on it! 

we ain't in the business of making you rebase your force. If you have them on era appropriate bases than great, if you want a larger modern base to create a cool scene for your commander than great. However anyone basing for advantage will face disdain and chastisement by the Northern contingent

A NOTE ON PRIMARIS: Fuck em..... unless you convert them EXTENSIVELY to look era appropriate. 

LIST RESTRICTIONS. 

- 1250pts following the force organisation rules in the 3rd edition rulebook

- Minimum points requirements for characters will NOT be in effect- want to bring Yarrick? Go for it you slag. 

- 1 named character per force, this includes datasheets so for example; Creed and Kell would be allowed as they are a single datasheet. 

- In order to avoid a sea of bland transports.... rhinos will be limited to 1 per army. 

Other than that... have at it and make sure, as always, you bring an enjoyable list for YOUR OPPONENT.

Registration - 9am-9.30am

Game 1 - 10am-1pm

Game 2 - 2-5pm

Open Gaming in the evening untill 8pm.

Sunday

Game 3 - 10am-1pm

Armies on parade - 1pm - 2pm

Game 4 - 2pm - 5pm

Awards - 5pm -5.30pm

AWARDS

There will be a huge number of prizes and awards on offer - all focused on theme, painting, creativity and sportsmanship.

Additionally- given the theme of the event, a special painting award for the best painted 3rd edition sculpt will be up for grabs.
