The IST Conference, its talks and workshops offer the opportunity for you to update your technical knowledge, skills and advance your career development, providing valuable networking opportunities to engage and learn from the professional and technical community. The event is aimed at anyone who works in working in STEMM, Creative Industries or Artificial Intelligence across industry, higher education and research.

Professor Fiona Clark

Professor Fiona Clark is an internationally recognised expert in Electronic Warfare with over 40 years in the defence industry, leading the design and optimisation of systems that protect RAF front-line aircraft while passionately championing STEM engagement and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Jiteen Ahmed
Jiteen Ahmed is Head of Technical Services at Aston University, bringing over 25 years of experience supporting advanced teaching and research laboratories, contributing to published research and commercialised innovation, and serving as a national advocate for technical professionals and the Technician Commitment.

Dr Helen Sharman CMG OBE
Dr Helen Sharman, IST President and Conference Chair, is a pioneering scientist and inspirational speaker who shares powerful insights on resilience, teamwork and achievement drawn from her historic mission to space.
