Workshop with Moore Casement: How to read the Bible for all its worth

Spring workshop with Moore Casement, director of Cornhill Training Course, Belfast

What’s it about?

Over three sessions we will look at some of the tools which help us to engage with the text of the Bible, so that we can get more out of God’s word as we read it for ourselves. Using examples from various parts of the Bible, but primarily from the book of Ruth, we will consider how we can work out both what the text is saying and is not saying. We will also be looking for the truths that we might be inclined to miss, because we are not using the right tools.

What’s the format?

Although there will be opportunities for short discussions in small groups, no-one will be asked to speak in front of the whole room and no specific level of knowledge will be assumed.
