An English singer-songwriter, who built an audience through extensive touring, a surreal sense of humour and an underdog persona. Dubbed “rock’n’roll’s greatest failure” after many unsuccessful attempts to produce a second hit single to follow his 1977 classic (Cor Baby, That’s) "Really Free". Star of Top of The Pops with the wonderful disco pastiche, ‘Bunsen Burner’ and more recently, his song “Beware Of The Flowers Cause I’m Sure They’re Going To Get You Yeah” voted the seventh greatest lyric of all time in a BBC poll. Now also star of the silver screen with his debut movie, expect madcap mayhem and some wacky stunts from a man old enough to know better.

His autobiography 'Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure' out sold, by a factor of ten, all the records he had released since his hit, and now Otway is struggling to live up to this billing - selling out London Astoria for his 2000th gig in 1993, filling the Royal Albert Hall in 1998, and charting at number 9 with his 2002 single 'Bunsen Burner'.
