Jacs Aberdare presents:
Bad Sam
Bad Sam are a post-industrial garage punk band from Newport, South Wales, delivering abrasive riffs, driving rhythms, and raw, no-frills energy. Rooted in the grit of South Wales’ industrial heritage, their sound fuses snarling punk attitude with the fuzzed-out punch of garage rock.
Known for loud, sweat-soaked live shows around Newport and the wider South Wales scene, Bad Sam have built a reputation for intensity, tight musicianship, and unapologetic volume. It’s fast, dirty, and direct — exactly how garage punk should be.
With support from:
The NaNaz
The NaNaz are an all-female punk band from South Wales. They formed out of the Nana Punk workshops - community music sessions aimed at women aged over 50 - and have quickly gained attention for their punk-inspired sound and attitude.
Ta Malaka Matia
Two-piece unit performing semi-improvisational soundscapes across video collages, drawing from classic plays and great tales of old.
