A Newport-based two-piece delivering a raw blast of gothic-tinged post-punk. Armed with live guitar, intense vocals, and their own self-produced backing tracks, they build a huge, chaotic wall of sound that hits far bigger than the band’s size suggests. Drawing inspiration from the ferocity of IDLES, the noise and urgency of DITZ, and the dark atmosphere of The Cure, Angelystor’s music is loud, heavy, emotional and unapologetically intense. Their performances are high-energy and confrontational, the kind that thrive in packed grassroots venues where sweat, noise and feeling collide.
