Join LushNature as we head to Rodeo Lagoon for the first time, in search of birds preparing to leave from their wintering grounds and fly far, far away. This hotspot features chances to see deer, bobcat, and a number of other mammals (even river otter), as well as newts, and a wide variety of birds going into breeding plumage.

After the bird count; folks may wish to continue hiking, picnicking, or visiting the Marine Mammal Center and the Marin Headlands Visitor Center, or go out to the Point Bonita Lighthouse. There’s so much to do out there.

Due to bridge toll, carpooling from the Presidio strongly recommended.
