Pop Up Readings is a special free event taking place at dlr LexIcon Library on the Friday before Bloomsday, celebrating the work of James Joyce in an accessible and engaging way. In partnership with the James Joyce Tower, volunteers will bring Ulysses to life through a series of informal readings, inviting visitors to dip in and experience Joyce’s iconic novel in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re a longtime fan or simply curious, this is a welcoming opportunity to connect with one of Ireland’s most celebrated literary works.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Bloomsday Festival takes place on 11-16 June 2026. It is organised by The James Joyce Centre in partnership with Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.
