Damn Fine Improv Presents: Pillow Fort!

Remember when you used to get home from school, shrug off your backpack, grab your favourite snack, the TV clicker, and turn on your favourite program??

It was like Saturday morning cartoons, but during the weekday!

Well, my Gen Z to Gen X friends, set your smiles to nostalgia! Because on November 9th, it doesn’t matter if you’re tall or short, everyone is welcome to THE PILLOW FORT!

The Pillow Fort! is a live comedy show that gives you the same feeling as tuning in to after-school programs like YTV’s The Zone. With quirky hosts, crazy antics, audience drawings, unscripted theatre in the style of beloved kids shows, and maybe even a contest or two 🙂

Best of all, not only do you get to relive a bit of that charmed childhood feeling, but your ticket fee goes towards a local children’s charity, so that a kid in need can experience that charmed feeling too.

So please don’t wait to get your ticket!
And prepare to laugh until you SNORT…

This event is loosely rated PG-14. However, because the performances are mostly unscripted theatre (improv), coarse language and mature themes may emerge. This event is intended for an adult audience.

6:30 - 7:30 PM: Play Time!

Shake off your work day! Come play some silly theatre and school yard games with us. (No theatre or school yard experience required.) Come with a willingness to have fun in a supportive environment!

7:30 - 8:00 PM: Get drinks & snacks!

Doors officially open for the show. The bar will be serving up drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as some snacks to munch on while you enjoy the show.

8:00 - 9:45 PM: Cozy up for the show!

Snuggle up to the stage as your hosts invite you into The Pillow Fort! We’ll have some colouring at the tables and a couple of little prizes to give away. There will also be one 15-min intermission for you to empty your bladders and fill up your cups and plates!
All profit made from this show will go to a chosen children's charity.
