It is time to learn a fun, new hobby -- SWING DANCING! Singles and couples alike are welcome to this fun and lively 4 part series in Petaluma on -- East Coast Swing Dance. No partner or experience need to join! 

Enjoy 7 classes of Swing Dance with Jasmine Worrell Dance starting on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The 7 week series begins May 9, 2024 and runs 7 Thursdays (skipping May 30 as we will hold a live band dance party that night for folks!). Instruction will be held May 9, 16, 23, June 6, 13, 20, 27. Parties (separate fee) on Thursday, May 30 and Sunday, June 30.

If you cannot attend all 7 classes but still want to join, contact Jasmine with next-steps. No problem!

Beginning Swing Dance is held from 7-8pm at Hermann Sons Hall at 860 Western Avenue in Petaluma.

If you are brand new dancer or brand new to swing dance, this series is for you! Swing is a fun social dance that is an instantly accessible way to enjoy social dancing to swing jazz, blues and rock and roll music. Swing is a form of social partner dance that evolved from Lindy Hop in the 1940s, and is based in six-count patterns that are simplified forms of Lindy Hop patterns. Enjoy a beautiful community of swing dancers and learn how to dance to jazz, blues and rock and roll. Absolutely no experience or partner needed. Simply show up, and I will provide the dance partner, as most students come alone/single. Just bring comfy shoes to dance in and your own water.

Class is for singles and couples, alike! Everyone is welcome!
