Intention in Nature
Join Jason as he guides you through a series of activities to help you slow down and connect with nature and yourself. The intention is for you to leave with a greater feeling of balance, perspective and a boosted sense of wellbeing. To have discovered a new insight into yourself as you tune into the wisdom in nature and your own internal compass.
We’ll be celebrating the Spring Equinox, when the length of the days and nights are equal from 20th- 23rd March. The return of the sun’s warmth and light provides nourishing energy and optimism, which brings everything back to life- including us humans! And the days will become longer from this point on!
There are already so many visible signs of regeneration and new life- such as the beautifully delicate Snow Drops and the vibrant yellow Aconite flowers in blossom. So much more bird song and activity in the trees, which will soon unfurl their leaves and feed from the sun’s energy. And there is going to be so much more new life, colour and vibrancy to come!
A special time of equilibrium between the dark and light- a perfect time for us to reflect on what may need to come into balance for us. A time to recalibrate and look ahead to where we are headed as we transition into the natural rhythm of growth, action and abundance.
We will gather on a beautiful private site in Monimail, Fife, comprising of 4 acres of walled gardens, 12 acres of woodland and a renovated 13th century tower, once part of a summer palace used by the ancient bishops of St Andrews. More info here: monimailtower.org
This will be fun, engaging and thought provoking. You will be invited to take part in a few different activities (nothing strenuous at all) and you can get involved as much as you are feeling the capacity to do so. There will be some gentle walking in the beautiful woodland, quiet time to sit and reflect and gathering in circle around the cosy fire. There will also be the option to climb the steps of the tower to take in the magnificent views of the surrounding area.
There will be opportunities to share our reflections, thoughts and feelings with the group but there is no pressure to do so. Sharing together in circle, where we are really seen and heard, can be a powerful and healing experience. This can feel challenging for some and it’s by leaning into these moments that we learn, grow and discover new parts of ourselves.
Meet your host:
Jason is a transformational life coach, nature connection facilitator, space holder and wood craftsman. He creates space where people can truly be seen and heard, to heal and come home to themselves and nature. He works with people one to one and in groups. He is passionate about helping people gain new insight about themselves. To feel empowered by tuning into their innate inner wisdom, that place of deep knowing and self-belief. And to become the most energised authentic version of themselves!
Practical Info:
Please arrive 10 minutes or so early to allow enough time to park and gather all you need. Parking is available on site and there is a compost toilet.
The ground will be uneven and potentially a little wet in places so please wear appropriate footwear. This is an outdoors event and will go ahead even if there is a little rain, as this will simply be part of the experience that nature is offering us. We also have access to an area under cover where we will gather around the fire.
I would suggest wearing suitable outdoor clothing, so you are comfortable, warm and dry. We will be sitting still for some periods- so bring whatever you need for your own comfort- such as a blanket, foam sit-mat or cushion, or if you prefer a camp chair that you are happy to carry yourself. I would recommend bringing a warm drink or two also.
