CLASSIC & CASUAL TRACK DAY

Got an old school hero? A performance icon of a bygone era? Or just a beloved family runabout that you love driving, and want to see what it can really do? Then THIS is the perfect event for you!

We are combining our classic track day with the principles of our regular events to create this, a treat for Summer 2026 - a "Classic and Casual" day. What does that mean? Well - it's our usual track day but with even MORE emphasis on FUN not SPEED. Sure - you're welcome to go as fast as you safely can, but here we want to make everyone know that ALL cars are welcome. 

This is the core principle of The Friendly Faces Car Club and to help it, the event for most starts the night before, when we host a meal at a local pub and socialise - because for us that's really what a track day is all about - making friends through cars.

RACE CARS WILL BE PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT ONLY WITH ADVANCE PERMISSION

This event takes place at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, an excellent and beginner friendly track with plenty of visibility, good run off and enough to challenge you once you feel a bit braver. It is a 1.5 mile track, not to be confused with airfield setups - those are typically made from a series of cones, can be tough to navigate and are very hard on tyres - not so here!

Included in the price of your ticket is

• A full day of open pit lane activity, with approximately SIX HOURS of track availability

Timings for the day:

Track opens 7AM
Sign on 8AM
Briefing 9AM - SEE NOTE BELOW
Track Activity 9.30 - 12.30
Lunch 12.30-1.30
Track Activity 1.30-5.00

Helmet hire is available on the day.

EVENT RULES:

You MUST attend the briefing at 9AM. If you are late for the briefing, you may be unable to drive on the day and you will NOT be refunded.
If you know you are to be late on the day, you must notify us at the earliest opportunity.

Please be aware long sleeves and trousers are required - whatever the weather.

All drivers MUST hold a valid FULL UK driving licence that covers them to drive the vehicle they intend to use.

Passengers must be at least 16 years old, and require a parent or guardian to supervise.

A helmet must be worn at all times. Open face helmets are permitted in hard top cars. Open top cars require full face helmets.
The noise limit at Blyton Park is 95dBa on a drive by. This is generous limit and should be suitable to most cars.
EVs are NOT PERMITTED ON TRACK, but are permitted in the paddock. Hybrids may be allowed but we advise you contact us or the venue in advance of booking to be sure.

Tickets are refundable up to one month before the event, a 10% processing fee is charged for refunds or 0% fee for refund taken as credit.
Tickets are transferrable up to one week before the event to another driver at no cost.
Transfer requests made at shorter notice may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
There is no cost for changing the vehicle used on the event, provided it meets the requirements of the event and venue.
